Due to power issues affecting the pump house yesterday, we experienced a sudden drop in pressure. Some residents experienced the brown discoloration in the water that we see from time to time.
Brown Water occurs from fluctuations in water pressure allowing some minerals on the inside of the pipes to be seen in the water.
Please continue to run your outside hose faucet until the water is clear and rinse out water filtration system filters. Your filters may need to be replaced.

4/14/2021, 11:10 AM -Please watch for pairs of nesting Canada geese in the next few weeks. If you see a nest, contact the office at 518-621-2341 so that someone can oil the eggs and prevent an increase in the geese population.
Do not remove the eggs as the pair will breed again.
The geese droppings add unwanted nutrients to our lake and makes an unsightly mess on our beaches and floats.
When you call the office, please leave your name, address, lot # and location of the nest. Do not tamper with the nest as the geese can be aggressive.
Thanks for helping to make a better lake!

Core samples are being taken to determine the composition of the inside of the dam and to verify the applied shotcrete met the project specifications. This information will be used to determine the products which can be used to address the cracking where seepage has occurred and what products may be used to fill the voids found inside the dam.
